Gabriel joined ResPot after relocating from Wellington, New Zealand. He graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a BSc in Geology and Geophysics and a first-class Masters degree in Geophysics. His master’s thesis involved gravity surveying and multichannel active-source seismic surveys over the Wellington Basin, where polarised shear-wave reflection surveys were used to more accurately map the Aotea Fault crossing through Wellington City and joint interpretation of gravity models and seismic reflection results were used to create a new basin model.  He then worked in the geotechnical industry as a geophysicist, applying methods such as MASW, SRT, HVSR, SPAC, ERI, GPR, and seismic reflection tomography to develop ground models and produce seismic and environmental hazard assessments.  At ResPot, Gabe is working on a wide range of geophysical survey datasets for geotechnical, groundwater and mineral exploration projects.
